Ursula Berlot, Introspection
Ljubljana born Artsist Ursula Berlot's work is the unusual marriage of science and art...(she graduated from Secondary School of Science and Mathematics, studied Philosophy and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Ljubljana and the Ecole Nationale Superieure Des Beaux-Arts Paris).
Her Video installation 'Butterfly' uses radiological images of her brain responding to different colours. (!!!) The work 'Kaleidoscopic Gaze' is based on digitally processed radiological images of the activity in her brain while watching Duchamp's Anemic Cinema...(which was created to alter the perspective of the viewer by alternating the concave and convex effects of spiral swirling). This kind of stuff Ah may zez me...it properly physically effects you which makes you part of it..massive wonders.
